Quick-Connect Bypass System

Metal Samples' quick-connect bypass system utilizes cam-lock fittings which eliminate the need for tools, and allow devices such as coupon holders and corrosion probes to be installed or swapped by hand in just minutes*. Devices can be hand-inserted into the quick-connect sockets, and are secured in place by engaging the two metal levers. This locks and seals the device with just a few easy steps.

Bypass systems are easily connected to your existing piping using standard pipe fittings. Systems are available with 2, 3, and 4 stations. Standard systems come equipped with one pre-weighed mild steel coupon per station and one coupon holder per station, and also include a 5-gpm flow control (for 3/4" systems) or an 8-gpm flow control (for 1” systems).

Requires the use of Metal Samples’ cam-lock devices.

1 Coupon holders have a 6” (15.24 cm) nylon stem with fasteners, and are designed for mounting Metal Samples model CO100 coupons.

2 LPR probes have a PVC body. Electrodes are sold separately.

3 Coupons are Metal Samples model CO100. They are pre-weighed, stenciled with sequence and alloy, and have a glass-beaded finish.

4 Electrodes are Metal Samples model EL400. They are sold individually, include a Viton insulator, and have a centerless-ground finish.
