CDL Truck Driver / Material Handler

MUST BE A LICENSED CDL DRIVER
Delivers customer parts, as required. May have occasional overnight deliveries. Driving records must be maintained, along with all DOT requirements. Remainder of time is spent assisting with warehouse duties: Works under limited supervision picks up and delivers supplies, materials, equipment and other goods to and from shop areas. Receives and moves freight, checks and reports damaged or defective materials. Prepares freight for shipment according to shipping policies and procedures. Performs a wide range of warehousing activities, including receiving, storing and shipping general or specialized materials and equipment. Verifies shipments, identifies and matches materials, by name, code, size and etc., stores, stacks and palletizes materials. Actively provides support for material requests, fulfills job orders and customer orders.

   

CNC / EDM Machinists

CNC and EDM Machinists set up, program, edit and operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines such as lathes, milling machines, and/or EDM (electrical discharge machine) to produce precision metal parts. Need knowledge of the working properties of metals and skills with machine tools to plan and carry out the operations needed to make machined products that meet precise customer specifications according to drawings/blueprints. Individual must employ a high degree of accuracy and precision in performing work, with ability to monitor and edit CNC programming, as required.

All levels of CNC Operators to Experienced CNC Machinists needed. (2 years minimum experience required.)

   
Electronics Engineer

The Electronics Engineer will be part of a team leading design efforts to support and sustain current instrumentation products and new efforts related to corrosion monitoring instrumentation and online/offline systems. This person will utilize experience and knowledge in circuit design/analysis, firmware/software, and industrial protocols and communications, and networking to support a growing engineering team to deliver innovative solutions.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree involving major study in electronic engineering, plus 1- year experience. Advance levels may require registration as a professional engineer in the branch of electrical and communications engineering or controls and automation and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
   
Engineering Machinist

The Engineering Machinist is a skilled worker who uses machine tools to make precision parts from a blueprint. Knowledge of shop practice and working properties of metals-plus understanding of what the various machine tools can accomplish-enables a machinist to turn stock materials into an intricate part, which meets precise specifications. Individual must employ a high degree of accuracy and precision in performing work.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma (preferred) or GED.
  • Training is usually carried out on the job, supplemented by internal or external courses where required. 
  • Five to 8 years of on-the-job training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Apprenticeship programs, vocational training, community, or technical colleges would be a plus.
   
General Laborer

Under immediate supervision, performs manual labor and a variety of routine unskilled and semi-skilled assignments either as a project team member or independently following detailed work instructions or clearly defined work procedures.  Types of work assigned may be very routine and repetitive in nature and after once learned can be carried on without difficulty and only under general supervision.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma (preferred) or GED.  Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
  • Forklift experience, optional.
   
Grinding Operators

Sets up and operates grinding machines (blancher, Okamoto, and surface) to grind external and internal flat or contoured surfaces of metallic and nonmetallic work pieces of various alloys. Reads from blueprints and/or job travelers product specifications for dimensions, tolerances and number of parts to be ground and tooling instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to use all machine shop tools, including computer console/computer-controlled machines.
  • Ability to apply standard machine practices and the ability to use integrated math (Algebra, geometry, trigonometry) to establish machine setups and execute part designs.
  • Ability to monitor gauges, dials and other indicator to make sure a machine is working properly.
  • Working knowledge of diverse materials and basic understanding of metallurgy.
   
Human Resources Manager

The Human Resource Manager plans, directs, and coordinates all human resource management activities. Partners and consults with management and advises on issues concerning all functional areas of human resources, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, policy implementation, employee recognition, drug testing, discipline, and benefits. Manages, communicates, and implements companywide programs, develops, and recommends practices. Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as related to human resources.

Education and/or Experience:
BS/BA degree (desired), preferably in Human Resources Management or related discipline; or 3 to 10 years of relevant work experience (preferably in manufacturing) and/or a combination of experience and education .

   
Laser Application Engineer

Uses the application of mechanical and laser optics engineering principles to provide efficient, effective, economical, and timely solutions to product and process development in the field of laser welding, laser cladding, laser marking and metal deposition. These can range from small component designs to extremely large plant machinery or vehicle projects, including oversight of design responsibilities. Develops tools, implements designs, or integrates machinery, or equipment, or computer-integrated technologies to ensure effective manufacturing processes. Is a member of the engineering team and supports the technical side of the marketing and communication processes. Works closely with Sales, Project Management and/or Product Management and Developmental teams to define the product development direction.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or Engineering, with experience (desired) in manufacturing engineering support.
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field, preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience in laser processing and laser metal deposition process development, industrial engineering, or related experience.
  • Should have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, Teams, and Projects, to manage a project.
  • Should have sufficient experience with CAD/CAM Design software to work independently on assigned projects, as needed.
  • Expected to maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
   
Laser Operator

Performs laser machine set-ups, maintains laser machines, and cuts/trims a diversity of alloys and components.  Reads production sheets and/or job travelers to determine specified operations. Performs routine semi-skilled assignments either as a project team member or independently following detailed work instructions or clearly defined work procedures.  Operations performed may be routine and repetitive in nature and once learned can be carried on without difficulty and only under general supervision

Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and read mechanical drawings / blueprints.
  • Have current knowledge of metal fabrication in accordance with processes of laser cutting.
  • Knowledge of handling and reading measuring equipment (calipers and mics).
  • Standard math skills.
  • Ability to setup and operate laser to achieve optimal machine performance.
  • Ability to maintain equipment to ensure proper operation.
   
Machinist - Experienced

Set up and operate mechanically controlled machine tools to produce precision metal parts, instruments, and tools. Will be fabricating wide variety of metal products to customer specifications through the operation of lathes, milling machines, grinders, & other similar equipment.

Experienced Machinist Qualifications

  • Must have ability to read blueprints/layouts and ability to apply shop mathematics for calculations of dimensions and tight tolerances.
  • Must have ability to use inspection tools to measure and examine completed parts to ensure product quality is met.

Requirements: Must have own tools. Technical degree in Machine Technology or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience and/or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.

   
Powder Coat & Wet Paint Operators

These positions are responsible for properly coating small to large parts of different metal substrates to various customer required powder coat or paint specifications. Operators prep parts for paint, including media blasting; and handle, hang, and package parts on/off the line.
Job requires standing on your feet and lifting parts, some above your head. Good communication & teamwork skills are necessary, must be able to follow instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Manual dexterity.
  • Experience with industrial painting and powder coating, preferred.
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing/production facility, desired.
  • Ability to read and understand paint specifications.
   
Press Brake Operator

Sets up and operates CNC press brake machine to bend, form, notch, punch, arc or straighten metal or structural shapes as specified by job travelers, blueprints, drawings, templates or layouts. Must be able to read blueprints/layouts, CAD and CAM files, and have good knowledge of shop mathematics for calculations of dimensions & tolerances. Will be fabricating a wide variety of metal products to customer specifications

Requirements: Previous press brake experience – set up experience a plus

   
Production Assistant (Shop Floor)

The primary goal of the Production Assistant (Shop Floor) is to work with the area supervisors to and assist them in production activities and help in coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to the production schedule. Duties include, operating and assisting in the setup of production equipment as needed, assisting in completion of production and process related documentation, and assist in both material handling and material disposition.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A high-school diploma or GED is required.
  • A college degree is preferred, with a focus in manufacturing or business, or equivalent combination of education and/or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with an ERP system is desired.
  • Experience working with indented bills of material is desired.
   
Production Control Clerk

The primary goal of the Production Control Clerk is to aid Sales and Production Control team members to ensure the successful transfer of sales orders to jobs for Manufacture. The Production Control Clerk is responsible for coordinating the flow of documents and information between departments to ensure that sales order delivery (product), documentation, quality, and technical requirements necessary for product manufacturing are met.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A high-school diploma or GED is required.
  • A college degree with a focus in manufacturing or business is a plus, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with an ERP system is desired.
  • Experience working with indented bills of material is desired.
   
Technical Sales Representative

The Technical Sales Representative will work with Sales Project Managers and Sales Managers, along with Production Control and Sales team members, as required, to develop a thorough understanding of customer job requirements, ensuring that project objectives are met, sales orders are properly processed for all job components, and ensure that all project material, delivery, quality, and technical requirements are clearly documented.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interface with customers to help resolve common technical problems and questions.
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between the customer, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Management.
  • Ability to read and understanding technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of basic manufacturing concepts and terminology.
  • Knowledge of basic industrial concepts and terminology.
  • Solid math foundation, including working with fractions, decimals, ratios and percentages.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related discipline, desired.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired.
