Job Summary for Embedded Systems Engineer
The Embedded Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of electronic embedded systems for corrosion monitoring applications. The primary responsibilities of the position will include but not limited to embedded system design using PIC/STM/SIL controllers.
Embedded Systems Engineer Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree involving major study in electronics engineering with specialization in Embedded Systems, plus 3- years’ experience or
- Master of science in Embedded Systems design with 1 year experience.
Embedded Systems Engineer Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Embedded system design using most proficient controllers.
- Selection of the controllers with respect to the application.
- System circuit design and Firmware development.
- System design for battery powered application.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technical personnel of the team.
To be successful as an Embedded Systems Engineer with ALSPI, you must also possess Knowledge on Embedded System design and FW development:
- Proficient in C and C++.
- Hands-on Experience in 16bit, and 32bit SiLabs, STM and PIC Microcontrollers.
- Experience on hardware communication Protocols
- Knowledge of Free RTOS.
- Experience on Lora, HART and ISA wireless is a plus.
- Knowledge on Power management systems and Battery-operated devices.
- Knowledge of Digital Circuit design.
- Understanding Analog circuit design.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to adapt to new changing requirements.
