       Recommend tooling and tool the job for the operator
       Review jobs and red-flag any that have special requirements

       Some understanding of exotic materials, recommend machining inserts and cutting tools

• Estimation
  - Help quote work
  - Review routes/methods – change and correct times

• Application
  - Understand our equipment
  - Recommend improvement for our equipment
  - Recommend process improvements
