ELECTRICAL CAD DRAFTER
Job Summary for Electrical CAD Drafter:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD software designing electrical products. As an Electrical CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for transforming initial rough product designs into working documents and reviewing electrical engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
Electrical CAD Drafter Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum requirement for this position is a Two-year degree or a bachelor’s degree in electrical design, drafting or electrical /electronic technology.
- One year of prior experience in electrical drafting using AutoCAD Electrical / SEE electrical CAD is a plus.
To be successful as an Electrical CAD Drafter with ALSPI, you must also have:
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of electrical drafting practices and standards
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, including layout planning and BOM creation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work
Electrical CAD Drafter Duties:
- Designing component layout for electrical enclosure.
- Generating wiring and layout drawings.
- Estimating power consumption, heat generation and planning suitable cooling.
- Generating the Bill of Materials.
- Interfacing with departmental personnel to obtain details of equipment and material required.
- Revising computer-aided designs and plans to comply with modified specifications made during actual construction.
Education:
Experience:
- SEE Electrical CAD: 1 year (Preferred)
- Electrical Drafting: 1 year (Required)
