What is Metal Deposition?
Metal Deposition is an additive process wherein an energy source
like a
laser is used to melt metal powder or wire on to a substrate.

In addition
to using lasers for metal deposition applications,
Alabama Laser also has experience in the use of conventional
welders for metal deposition. The photo shown here is a system
that uses a robotic MIG welder to accomplish the deposition process.
