PROJECT COORDINATOR
Project Coordinator Summary:
The Project Coordinator collaborates with Sales Project Managers, Sales Managers, and Production Control to understand customer job requirements, ensuring project objectives are met, sales orders are processed correctly, and all material, delivery, quality, and technical requirements are documented.
Education and/or Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related discipline and 3-5 years of relevant experience (desired) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Experience working with an ERP system is desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issues sales orders, ensures objectives are documented and aligned with project success indicators, and works to remove barriers for project completion.
- Develops and reviews project status reports, coordinates work across departments, and manages product assembly and documentation transfer.
- Facilitates communication between team members, departments, and customers, addressing technical issues and product concerns.
- Acts as a liaison between customers, Engineering, and Management to resolve higher-level problems and enters RMAs for customer returns.
- Maintains records of customer calls, complaints, and recurring product defects, reporting issues to Engineering, Management, and Quality.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of procurement methods, project planning, and the ability to analyze quality of materials and equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, management, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle projects with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and understanding of basic manufacturing, industrial, and technical concepts, including electrical, coatings, and piping.
- Ability to read technical drawings, conceptualize project planning, and provide strategic recommendations based on company policies and product knowledge.
