Suzanne Wheat Kelly

Suzanne W. Kelly age 68, of Lawrenceville passed away peacefully on October
18, 2011.
She was born in Savannah, GA, and resided in Hattiesburg and Gulfport,
Mississippi until she relocated to Atlanta with her family. She was a
resident of Lawrenceville, GA for the past 33 years.
She was married to the love of her life, James R. Kelly, for 45 years.
Suzanne was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend who always
put her family first. She was energetic and caring towards those who knew
her and always welcomed new faces. She will always be remembered for her
kind heart and creative talents as well as her love of shopping, cooking,
and sewing.
She is survived by her daughter Shan Rivers and son in law Robert Rivers,
brother and sister in law Joey and Lindy Wheat of Savannah, Georgia, sister
Patricia Colson of Gulfport, MS, and sister and brother in law Rebecca and
Carl McLarand of Newport Beach, CA, granddaughters Delilah Ray Rivers and
Ruth Anne Rivers, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by
her parents Delilah and H. W. Wheat, her husband James Ray Kelly and her son
Guy Thomas Kimbell.
A Memorial service will be held Friday, October 21 at 2:00pm at Chamblee
First United Methodist Church 4147 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd Chamblee, GA 30341.
Family will receive friends immediately following in the Fellowship Hall.
