Robert “Bobby” Welch, Sr.
May 30, 1943 to October 19, 1994

Robert Lee “Bobby” Welch Sr., 51, a resident of Long Beach, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1994, in Gulfport.

Mr. Welch, a native of Gulfport, had retired from Sears after 34 years as department manager, and had served in the U. S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Imogene Welch.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Levens Welch; two sons, Robert L. Welch Jr. and Mark S. Welch; daughter-in-law Mitzie M. Welch, all of Long Beach; a brother, Richard L. Welch of Pass Christian; two sisters, Carol Hammett and Susan Ramsey, both o Gulfport; and a granddaughter, Brittany M. Welch of Long Beach.

Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Riemann Funeral Home, 25^th Avenue in Gulfport.  A service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel followed by burial in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
