Clarence H. Walker, Jr.
January 6, 1942 – January 14, 1984
GULFPORT – Visitation for Clarence H. Walker, Jr., 42, will be held tonight
from 6 until 10 at Lang Funeral Home in Gulfport. His funeral will be
conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel, with interment to
follow in Floral Hills Cemetery.
Mr. Walker, a resident of 4008 Chamberlain Ave., Gulfport died Saturday in
Gulfport. He was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport and was
employed with C. E. Natco. He served in the U. S. Air Fore and was formerly
active with the Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of Grace Memorial
Baptist Church, where he worked with the Royal Ambassadors program.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gale Clark Walker; a son, Clarence Eugene
“Gene” Walker; one daughter, Miss Ava Gale Walker; his mother Mrs. Mattie E.
Walker, all of Gulfport; and two brothers, William Jerry Walker of Saucier
and Jeff O. Walker of Gulfport. |
