Patricia Anette Trapp, age 75, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.
Mrs. Trapp was born in Poplarville, MS to James “Pat” Harrison Smith and Hazel Delores Lee Smith Spataro. She was a former bookkeeper and was a member of Campground Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving caregiver who always put others before herself. She was larger than life and used her gifts to care for those in need.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Ray Trapp of Gulfport; children, Garry W. San Antonio (Catherine) of Greenville, TX, Delores “Jeannie” Edge (Jeffrey) of Biloxi, Steve Trapp of Seymour, MO, Debbie Sue Merchant (Frank) of Rogersville, MO , and Rebecca Ann Trapp of Seymour, MO; her mother, Hazel Smith Spataro of Gulfport; her sister, Patty Gail Smith of Locust Fork, AL; grandchildren, James, Amanda, Matthew, Laruen and Hunter, 10 great grandchildren; and 3 nieces and nephews, Daron, Darla, and Melea.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm in the chapel with burial to follow on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Smith Cemetery, Smith Cemetery Road, Perkinston, MS at 2:00 pm.
