Since that eye opening day I've done consulting, sales training, and now work at the navy exchange in Gulfport as retail electronics supervisor. My wife had to have surgery in may for breast cancer. She had a radical on one and she’s clear. She's my hero and a survivor. I lost both my parents in 2007. We're hanging in there. -------------------------------------------------------- Barbara was in the hospital in June. I woke up one night and she could not get from the bathroom to the bed and was extremely weak. I couldn't find a pulse and took her immediately to the hospital. She was dehydrated, and she was anemic due to bleeding ulcers from her arthritis medicine. She is o.k. now but is in pain management and physical therapy for her neck, jaws and shoulders which was why she was taking the Celebrex. I'm still teaching sales/negotiating/sales management/presentation skills under contract with a company out of Roswell GA called Saled Concepts Inc. My dad is in the latter stages of Alzheimer's and my wife, my sister and I take care of him and my mother. They live in Long Beach, and we take care of my my mother in law, who lives in Pass Christian. My wife Barbara is into wire jewelry, she's is very good at it, and I do glass etching and engraving as a hobby along with my oil painting. |
