retired as a legal secretary from a large law firm in Dallas, having been
employed there for nearly 30 years, as an assistant to the head of the
litigation section at that time. Prior to moving to Garland, Texas, I was
employed in a New Orleans law firm as a legal secretary for 3 1/2 years.
And, prior to that, worked in the Harrison County Family Court in Gulfport
for 3 years, under the leadership of Judge Luther Maples, as one of three
court reporters for that court. I have been retired for several years and
am enjoying the freedom of being free of anyone's time schedule but my own.
Generally, my time is spent between painting, making simple quilts, reading,
and some sewing. I love garage sales and going to antique stores. |
