Sallie McDonald Kimbrough
July 22, 1942 to December 13, 1981
Mrs. Sallie Ruth McDonald Kimbrough, 39, of Gulfport, died Sunday in Mobile
of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Pascagoula, she was a lifelong resident of Gulfport. She was a
cashier at gulf Coast Community Hospital and a member of the Gulfport Yacht
Club and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Ski Club. She was a graduate of
Gulfport High School and attended Mississippi State College for Women. She
was a Methodist.
She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Mary Drane Wood McDonald, who died
earlier this year.
Survivors include a son, Vernon Kennedy Kimbrough III, and a daughter,
Kimberly Leigh Kimbrough, both of Ethel; her father, C. H. Click” McDonald
of Gulfport; two brothers, Eric L. McDonald of Jackson and John D. McDonald
of New York City.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Lang Funeral Home in
Gulfport. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
chapel.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. |
